Rehoming

When considering rehoming your dog we urge you to stop for a moment and take a breath and think about practical solutions for what is causing you to move your dog out of the home they know from the people and system they are used to. We are more than happy to help with behavioral issues, training measures, vet assistance or whatever the issue may be. We suggest you reach out to animalangelsnetwork@gmail.com with (ASK Cynthia) in the subject.

The first step in understanding your dogs unique needs and circumstances. We need complete honesty, this is not the time to tell us what you think we need to hear. The ONLY way we can help is if we know what is going on.

TO BE CRYSTAL CLEAR: Neither Animal Angels Network nor any other licensed rescue can take a dangerous dog.

To ensure that everyone is committed to finding your dog a new home we start with a $100 networking fee and a signed commitment contract. This fee covers creating a profile reaching out to our extensive network of rescue partners or already approved fosters or adopters.

The logistics of responsibly rehoming a dog are labor intensive and we have that down to a science. We are called a network for a reason . Networking is the process of arranging suitable placement for a dog. We utilize a multi-prong system for placing dogs, in urgent circumstances we seek foster which is a qualified temporary home. Every dog we have placed in a home in the last 3 years is still in the home due to our diligence of matching dogs with their people.

If we network the dog to one of our rescue partners, we only work with the best and are confident that they have a solid program to find placement with care.
